With its neckband style, it's the perfect solution when you need hearing protection combined with bump caps, wide-brim helmets, helmets without mounting holes or stand-alone face protection.

Protection level 2 is suitable for medium to high noise levels, between 90-110 dB. This makes it the ideal choice for noise protection in environments such as construction and construction work, heavy industrial work and long-term exposure to noise.

The neck brace is made of soft support band of velcro material, which makes it comfortable to wear for longer periods. The hearing protection is made of high-quality plastic, which ensures durable and reliable protection.

The hearing protection comes with replaceable ear pads with a practical "snap-in" system that makes it easy to change them out as needed. It can also be integrated with face protection for added safety.

The noise protection level of this hearing protection is impressive. The attenuation value (SNR value) is 30 dB, which is an average of the attenuation in dB. The attenuation value of high-frequency sounds such as the squeal is 33 dB, on medium-frequency sounds it is 27 dB, and on low-frequency sounds such as the hum is 19 dB. This ensures effective protection against noise in different frequencies.

In order to maintain a high level of hygiene and ensure that the hearing protection functions optimally and provides the best possible noise reduction, it is recommended to replace the sealing rings (hygiene set) twice a year. This ensures that the earcups close tightly and keep the noise out.

It is important to choose the right hearing protection so that the ear is not exposed to a noise level of more than 75-80 dB. It is not necessary to choose a hearing protector that can reduce the noise to an acceptable level, as this can be calculated using a simple calculation. You first need to know the dB level you are in, which can be measured with many different apps for your phone. Using this information, you can calculate whether the hearing protection is effective enough to protect you from the noise.

With the Hellberg Secure 2 neck brace hearing protection 43002-001, you are assured of high quality, excellent protection and a comfortable fit. It is the ideal choice for anyone who works in noisy environments and wants to protect their hearing in the best possible way.

Neck brace

Soft support band made of velcro material

Made of high quality plastic

Interchangeable ear cushions with "snap-in" system

Integration with face protection

Noise protection level

The attenuation value:

The SNR value: 30 dB, which is an average of the attenuation in dB.
- The damping value for high-frequency sounds, e.g. the squeal, is 33 dB.
- The attenuation value for medium-frequency sounds is 27 dB.
- The attenuation value for low-frequency sounds, such as hum, is 19 dB.

Maintenance:

A hygiene kit is available for the hearing protection.
